NEC UNIVERGE ST465: Stay Connected Anywhere
NEC's UNIVERGE ST465 softphones for Android smartphones offer a convenient solution for staying connected while on the go. With this app, you can make and receive calls from anywhere as if you were at your desk. Whether you're in the office or outside, you have the flexibility to handle your calls using either Wi-Fi or mobile data. By using your desk phone number instead of your mobile number, you can simplify your communications and have a single call history and work voicemail to manage.
The UNIVERGE ST465 integrates seamlessly with your Android phone contacts, allowing for easy access to your contacts and call history. The app also features a custom speed dial panel for quick dialing and supports hands-free mode. You can even mute a ringing call by simply turning over your phone or have it automatically mute or go on speaker based on phone orientation.
When it comes to call features, the ST465 offers a comprehensive set of functionalities. You can make and receive calls, manage call waiting, hold and retrieve calls, transfer calls, park calls, and even participate in call hunt groups. The app also supports dialing DTMF tones and call forwarding.
Please note that to work outside your corporate Wi-Fi, a VPN connection or a Session Border Controller is required. The ST465 is free to use on NEC Phone systems (SL1100, SV9100, SV9300, or SV9500), but it requires an activation code that can be obtained from your NEC representative. Spare licenses capacity on your phone system may also be needed to create a standard SIP extension.
